Reenactment of Spanish colonial horse soldiers .

These reenactment horse soldiers, soldados de cuero (leather-coated soldiers) are standing in a present-day Arizona landscape between Tumacacori and Tubac, close to what the Anza colonizing expedition experienced over 200 years earlier.
