Borrego Valley
Borrego Valley
Entrance to the Borrego Valley.

The wide opening in the mountains was the entrance to the Borrego Valley for the Anza colonizing expedition. The landscape reflects a limited amount of annual rainfall. This view, heading towards Coyote Canyon, is a gateway to the upland valleys of Alta California.
